As much as we all have good intentions to be healthy and want to get to the gym three or four times a week sometimes life just gets in the way. Whether that be work, friends or family we beat ourselves up for not making it to our favourite class. We know this is a problem lots of people face and Mindful Chef is here to make life that little bit easier not only by delivering healthy recipe boxes but also by giving you advice on training.
What if we told you that you that you could still get a good workout anywhere and all it will take is ten minutes? Check out these 3 ways to get your workout done anywhere.
This is a HIIT type of workout that lasts for 4 minutes each round. Perform 20 seconds of one exercise as fast as you can followed by 10 seconds of rest. Repeat this 8 times. Rest for 1 minute, change the exercise and repeat. You will have done 2 intense circuits in less than 10 minutes.

2. HIIT circuit
Circuits are a fantastic way of raising your heart rate and keeping your body burning calories long after you have finished training. Check out this workout for a fast fat-burning workout you can do in your own home. Perform 60 seconds of each exercise continuously and then rest for 60 seconds. Repeat for 2 rounds.
- Bodyweight squats
- Hand walkouts
- Alternating lunge jumps
- Mountain climbers
3. 30 seconds work 30 seconds rest
This is one of our favourites at Mindful Chef HQ and you can regularly see us doing this in the park. The name says it all. Set the clock for 10 minutes and do 30 seconds work followed by 30 seconds rest. If you really want the most bang for buck exercise try doing burpees.
