Our rich and creamy chocolate avocado mousse combines fresh ripe avocados with coconut milk, raw cacao and a drizzle of sticky maple syrup. It tastes so indulgent yet is only made with good for you ingredients and is dairy-free, gluten-free and perfect for vegans. We served this silky smooth mousse with coconut yoghurt and a scattering of tart berries.
Ingredients:
- 2 avocados
- 25g raw cacao
- 100ml coconut milk
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)
- 120ml coconut yoghurt
- Handful of fresh berries
Method:
- Puree the avocado in a bullet or blender.
- Mix the coconut milk with the raw cacao and stir in the avocado. Add the maple syrup to taste.
- Spoon into small ramekins and chill.
- Serve with the coconut yoghurt and berries.
